CDA approves construction of eight new overhead bridges in capital

Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved construction of eight new overhead bridges in federal capital to facilitate the pedestrians to cross the roads.

CDA technical committee has accorded approval to PC-1 of two projects on construction of these bridges at eight places in Islamabad. These bridges will cost Rs 340 million.

As many as four bridges will be built over Kashmir Highway in the areas of NUST University, police lines, G-10 crossing and H-9 weekly bazaar. Likewise, bridges will also be built in the area of Khiaban-e-Sirsyed on IJ Principal Road, Fazaya Colony on Expressway, F-9 Park gate on 9th Avenue.
