Pakistan People’s Party Leadership will reach out to the political forces of the country soon in a bid to formulate holistic strategy aimed at steering the country out of the vicious circle of problems the country is embroiled in at present, said Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo in a statement issued here on Saturday from the Party Secretariat.
He referred to the decision of the Pakistan People’s Party Central Executive Committee’s meeting held on April 3, 2014 at Ghari Khuda Bux in which a strong need was felt to take initiative on pro-active basis to forge unity among the political leadership because the survival of the country was at stake.
He suggested that all the provincial and federal governments should take action against terrorist organisations in their areas of jurisdiction to supplement the armed forces those were deeply engaged to fight out the scourge. Such action is critical for defeating the menace thoroughly besides strengthening the cause of federation and more importantly the promotion of inter- provincial relations as the common causes and therefore worth pursuing, he observed.
He appreciated the clarity of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on the challenges facing the country and also the strategy as unfolded in his recent speech to be adopted to ward off dangers to the integrity and security of the country.
He appreciated the resolve of the Sindh government that had taken immediate necessary action to track the miscreants down to bring them in the dock to face the legal consequences of their heinous crime.
