Flynas to launch Jeddah-Karachi operation from 8th

Saudi Arabian Carrier Flynas has announced to launch its operation from Karachi to Jeddah from April 8.

The announcement was made by Chief Operating Officer of the Airline, Raja Azmi, at a ceremony held on Saturday. Addressing the launching ceremony, he said that Flynas was introducing low cost carrier plus (LCC+) concept which will offer passengers affordable international air travel with value added services. Initially, three non-stop flights between Jeddah and Karachi will operate weekly, he said, adding the flights operation would be extended to other main cities of Pakistan such as Islamabad and Lahore.

Speaking as chief guest, SM Muneer, Chief Executive of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), appreciated the management of Flynas for launching their operation from Pakistan.

He said the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was very much keen to promote business ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The launching of new airlines was a good sign in this regard, he added.

Maqsood A Latifi, CEO of Marhaba Aviation Services on the occasion said that Pakistan was an important destination of Flynas Global Flight Routes programme, which will feature an affordable, high-value international route network across Europe, Asia and Africa.

The function was attended by representatives of all leading travel agents, multinational companies, bankers, industrialists and businessmen.
