The Punjab Home Department has ordered an action against terrorist hideouts in the province.
According to the sources, there are reports of the presence of at least 174 alleged hideouts of the terrorists in the province whereas the Punjab Home Department has ordered a joint operation in these localities.
The Punjab Police and intelligence agencies would launch joint operation while the suspected places would be searched in three different timings.
Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the Punjab government had launched crackdown on a key network of terrorists and arrested several accused.
He said that the detained suspects wanted to target VIPs in the province.
