Punjab police, agencies ready to crackdown on militants

The Punjab Home Department has ordered a joint operation by the police and intelligence agencies for identifying the militant hideouts in the province.

According to reports, at least 174 locations are suspected to be providing a safe haven to the terrorists in Punjab.

The home department has ordered the joint action to target the locations and arrest suspects.

According to Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, the provincial government is cracking down on the network of terrorists and has made a number of arrests.

The terrorists’ prime targets included the high-profile personalities of Punjab, he added.

Nice to see Pakistani Police is still using good old 303 rifles {These are at least 110 years old), occasionally they are seen with another rifle AK47; while the opponents are armed to the teeth. By the way the largest importer of military equipment in the world is India. They need to spend this huge amount of money to keep few millions Kashmiris down. BJP has promised to compete against China & Pakistan both.
