President Mamnoon Hussain has stressed the need of strengthening public-private partnership to eradicate illiteracy and ensure socio-economic development of the country.
The president was addressing the 18th Convocation of Hamdard University in Karachi on Saturday. He said the nation was blessed with huge capabilities‚ which must be utilised by promoting quality education in the country. He lauded the role played by HamdardUniversity in producing skilled manpower and urged the graduating students to serve the country with great devotion and dedication.
The president also paid great homage to the founder of the University Hakim Muhammad Saeed for his services to promote education.
Earlier‚ Hamdard University Vice Chancellor Hakim Abdul Hannan apprised the president of performance of the university.
