Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, accompanied by Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon, visited the district hospital in Mithi to enquire about the patients’ health on Monday.

The Sindhi-speaking women in the hospital were stunned when they heard Bilawal talking to them in English, as they couldn’t understand a single word that came out of his mouth.

However, Sharjeel Memon came to the rescue and acted as a translator, telling the mothers of affected children that Bilawal Zardari had come to enquire about the health of their children.

When the mothers began to tell miserable tales of their children in Sindhi language, it was Bilawal Zardari’s turn to be dumbfounded, as this time it was he who could not comprehend a single word of what the mothers said.

Later, doctors from Mithi District Hospital briefed Bilawal Zardari in English about the condition of the children and their responses towards their treatment.

  1. completely untrue… I was there.. he was speaking Urdu with the patients… though few didnt understand Urdu as they were mostly Tharri speaking and then there Sharjeel Memon interpreted for both
and when BBZ reached there people including the Tharris who have no sources, no means whatsoever to get into politics and/or information, chanted Jiye Bhutto and Jiye Bilawal… but as for PM Sharif, Marvi Memon had to introduce him to the patients first… so please stop your yellow journalism https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=605157416
