Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit the drought-hit Tharparkar district tomorrow (Monday), while announcement of aid package by the federal government is also likely, reported a private news channel on Sunday.
The PM has also announced to provide MI-17 helicopter for supply of necessary relief goods.
He has also assured all-out cooperation from federal to the Sindh government for Thar victims.
According to prime minister’s spokesperson, the PM is constantly in touch with the provincial government of Sindh.
He added military leadership in Sindh was also informing the PM about relief operations in Thar on daily basis.
