- Says annoyed over absence of MPAs from parliamentary party meeting
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has asked the government to start dialogue with the Taliban without any fear and reservations terming the announcement by the banned TTP as foundation of peace in the country.
Imran Khan said the PTI was a party for change and asked the MPAs to raise their voice in the Punjab Assembly on issues agitating the minds of the masses. He was of the opinion that because of the price hike and unemployment, poor people were forced to commit suicides.
Hinting at the Punjab Youth Festival, he alleged that the provincial leaders were using national resources for their political objectives.
The PTI chief said the PML-N government had failed in every respect as it had not been able to resolve any problem including power load shedding.
Earlier, Imran Khan expressed confidence in the leadership of provincial parliamentary leader and took a serious notice of absence of some PTI MPAs from the meeting. He directed that the absent members be informed about the decisions of the meeting and directed to positively attend the meetings in the future.
