The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) foreign affairs and planning committee on Saturday announced to quit the party.
Giving reason for quitting the party, Munir Ahmed Khan said that he has been repeatedly giving suggestions and inputs to the party leadership for the betterment of the party but they have been ignored, adding that it is useless to stay in the party.
He maintained that the current party leadership was doing politics against the policies of PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto and against the aspiration of the people, therefore he decided to part ways.
