Dasti accuses parliamentarians of bringing courtesans in lodges

Jamshed Dasti on Thursday has accused parliamentarians of adultery, alcohol and drugs.

He was addressing the National Assembly forum where he said that corridors of parliament lodges in Islamabad are filled with charas and alcohol stench.

He further accused that girls and courtesans are brought in parliament lodges for dances and other purposes.

Parliamentarians residing in lodges are annually spending four to five crore rupees on alcohol.

He challenged all parliamentarians to go under a medical checkup.

Chairperson Naeema Kashore switched off his one mic and asked him to bring proofs of his accusations.

Naitonal Assembly speaker Ayaz Sadiq said that Jamshed Dasti said all this to get media attention. He could have complaint about it in my chamber. He further clarified that after becoming speaker he got all the CCTV cameras’ repaired. Jamshed should provide evidences and strict action will be taken against all responsible member parliament.

While talking to media, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) MNA Nabeel Gabool said Jamshed’s statement is based on facts.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MNA Mola Baksh Chandio said Jamshed is white collard man, but none would have ever heard one such thing from my side of building. He continued saying humans often make mistakes.

Another parliamentarian, Shagufta Jamani said that she had never heard about such a thing.

Senator Israrullah Zahri also backed Jamshed’s statement.

  1. On this issue I totally agree with this legislator. Sizable majority is involved in these activities. Dance, Music, Drinks and women are also common in PM house so nothing so serious if these activities are taking place at lodges.
