The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said on Wednesday that terrorism in the country rose to an extreme level due to fighting America’s war.
Addressing a rally, Imran Khan said that sugar mill owners were powerful and the farmers were weak. People will come out to change their fate on March 3, he said.
The PTI chief thanked Faisal Saleh Hayat and claimed that the people had voted for ‘bat’ in the general elections 2013, yet the ‘lion’ rose to power.
“Rulers send their money abroad and urge people to bring their money back to Pakistan,” he said, adding that the system of oppression cannot continue anymore.
Talking about the PTI’s performance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Imran Khan said that no police officer could be appointed using influence in the province, adding all matters were solely based on merit. He said the country will not move forward until the system is improved.
Addressing on the occasion, Sheikh Rasheed termed the Nawaz cabinet as a “gang of seven”, adding that the “gang” had brought the country to the edge of destruction.
The Awami Muslim League chief said he loved Imran Khan as used to love Nawaz Sharif in the past, but later Nawaz started following the path similar to that of Asif Zardari. He was of the view that Nawaz and Zardari are two sides of same coin.
He alleged that twelve entities of the country were occupied by seven families, if these families brought their money back from Swiss banks, Pakistan would be dragged out from all crisis.
He requested people of Jhang to vote for the PTI in by-elections.
