ISLAMABAD
Pakistan has asked India to release all of its prisoners who have completed their sentences on humanitarian grounds, state-run media reported on Sunday.
The demand was made by Foreign Office spokeswoman Tasnim Aslam after the death of a Pakistani prisoner in an Indian-held Kashmir prison.
She expressed concern over the plight of Pakistani prisoners in India and said that they faced torture at the hands of Indian authorities.
Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India Salman Bashir has contacted Indian authorities to get a detailed report about the death of the Pakistani prisoner.
India must respond pakistani request with posative. It would bee better for both countries
