Teams of culinary arts students of COTHM won silver and bronze medals in International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival 2014 in Turkey. Thirty four international teams were contesting from Europe and other regions of the world.
The CEO of COTHM, Ahmad Shafiq, led the teams of students to participate in the competitions. He expressed his delight on exceptional performance of the teams. He said it is a matter of great national pride for us that as Pakistanis we represented our country at an international forum and competing on such forums will play a vital role in promoting the Pakistani cuisine internationally. He said, we are indebted to the overwhelming professional support and cooperation from the hospitality industry of Pakistan which enabled us to showcase our brilliant youth internationally.
