A doctor was killed and his driver received injuries as unidentified gunmen opened fire on a vehicle in North Nazimabad area of Karachi.
According to police, Professor Dr Javed Qazi was killed and his driver injured when unidentified assailants riding motorcycles opened fire on his car in block I of North Nazimabad area on Monday morning.
The deceased doctor was working at Karachi Medical and Dental College (KMDC). His driver was also injured as a result of firing and was shifted to hospital for treatment.
Police reached the spot and initiated investigation.
