President Mamnoon Hussain says Pakistan-China Economic Corridor project is going to be a monument of the century.
In an interview with Chinese media in Islamabad today‚ he said Pakistan-China Economic Corridor project will benefit the whole region.
The President hoped to reach consensus with China to accelerate the projects relating to energy in order to overcome power shortage.
Mamnoon Hussain said that during his talks with the Chinese leadership in his forthcoming visit to China‚ he will ask to speed up the implementation of the agreements signed between the two governments especially on the energy cooperation.
He said China is Pakistan’s really best friend and Pakistan always stands by China.
The President will pay a state visit to China from Tuesday.
