LAHORE – Two art exhibitions will be organised at the Aitchison College, Lahore this week in connection with Pakistan Day and the institution’s 125th Founding Day. Selected paper prints of paintings of prominent Pakistani artist of international repute Jimmy Engineer, including his famous Pakistan Movement series of paintings, will be exhibited on March 26 under the auspices of the Fine Arts Department. On March 24, work of young art students of the institution will be exhibited.
Young art students have made these paintings after getting inspired by Engineer. Some old Aitchisonions who have taken up painting as a hobby or profession will also take part in the event.Punjab Governor Latif Khosa will be the chief guest at the Founding Day celebrations which will attended by Aitchisonions from across the globe.
