Coincident bombings kill five in Baghdad market

BAGHDAD-

At least five people were killed on Thursday in a synchronized bomb blasts in a market of Iraqi capital of Baghdad, officials said.

According to a police official, two bombs had been hidden in cloth shops of al-Arabi wholesale market of Baghdad.

The bombs went off simultaneously on Thursday morning, killing at least five persons and wounding 15 others.

Medical sources confirmed the casualties’ toll.
