Three people were killed and two injured after unidentified gunmen opened fire in the Malir area on Monday.
Police confirmed that at least three people were slain following the firing incident that took place in Malir-15 area.
The injured and the dead were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi. Panic gripped the area as people started to run for taking shelter as firing started. Sources said that some people were also injured during the stampede.
Police have reached the area and cordoned off the crime spot. The security personnel have also begun search in nearby areas.
