Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader Liaquat Baloch on Saturday dismissed the imposition of Sharia on gunpoint and bomb blasts.
Interacting with reporters in Lahore, Baloch said Pakistan’s Constitution is according to Quran and Sharia.
He said that a country, which came into being in the name of Kalma, cannot be turned into a secular state on external pressure.
To a question about Pervez Musharraf’s trial, he said that the former president was facing a backlash of his own policies.
