KESC off to a solid start

LAHORE – Danyal Ahsan and Akbar-ur-Rehman cracked centuries to steer KESC to a solid start on the opening day of the three-day Patron’s Trophy Grade-II- 2010-2011 match against KPT here at the LCCA ground on Monday.
KESC were at 428 for seven in 83 overs at the close of play. Ahsan Ali contributed 80 runs, while Adeel Malik with six wickets was the pick of bowlers. Meanwhile at the Railways Stadium, Mohammad Ahmed scored 120 runs to take Railways total to 395 all out against PEB, who were at 79 for four in 16 overs at the end of the day.
