One day after the first meeting between Taliban and Government peace committees, inside stories of the meeting have started unfolding.
According to some credible sources, Government negotiator Major (r) Amir lashed out at the Taliban peace committee member and Laal Masjid cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz for issuing statements to media on conditioning peace talks with imposing Shariah in the country.
According to details, Major (r) Amir strongly criticised Molana Abdul Aziz, whilst the advisor to the PM Irfan Siddiqui also demanded for an inquiry against Maulana Abdul Aziz for making contacts with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) chief Mullah Fazlullah.
Irfan Siddiqui said that the news circulating on different news channels are creating hurdles for the government.
Sources said that due to Abdul Aziz’s statements, overall atmosphere of the meeting remained tensed, but after sometime interference of the other members relaxed it.
Moreover, Maulana Samiul Haq stated that if the cross fire of statements continued on media, then it can create obstacles for the negotiations process with Taliban.
Earlier, Maulana Abdul Aziz had stated that enforcement of Shariah is lacking in the agenda of peace talks and for this reason he had signaled of his possible detachment from the process.
Pakistan's international image has been totally tattered not because of terrorism, but because of its response to terrorism, as encapsulated in this news item. What a load of rubbish.
.
I think you are very correct on this …
.
"… Once constricted to a small corner of Pakistan, now the Taliban appear to be dictating the political future course for the entire country."

.
Forget about the international image …
What's going to happen to ordinary Pakistanis' ???
.
This burqa molana should be put behind bars and punished for terrorist activities and anyone favouring this terrorist should also be given similar treatment
