Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) has clarified that no judge of the apex court holds dual nationality.
After some media reports in respect of proceedings in the Senate regarding dual nationality of the judges of the SC, the matter was discussed informally in the full court meeting of the SC.
Following the meeting, a press release said it was noticed during the meeting that none of the judges of the SC holds dual nationality. The press release said neither the Constitution nor the code of conduct for judges of the superior courts place bar on judges having dual nationality.
