DERA BUGTI-
Gas supply to the Sui plant was suspended on Tuesday night after a gas pipeline was blown up by unidentified men in Dera Bugti area of Balochistan.
According to a Levies official, “A planted device was used to damage a 24-inch diameter pipeline near Bugti Colony.”
The blast blew away a considerable length of the pipeline, he added.
As a result gas supply to the Sui plant, from some wells, was suspended.
Security authorities reached the blast site and launched an investigation.
According to Sui gas officials, repair works were to start after a security clearance by the agencies.
