Kashmir Day: PM Sharif urges India for peace talks on Kashmir issue

MUZAFFARABAD-

Prime Minister Nawaz Shairf on Wednesday invited the Indian leadership for a peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute through negotiations.
Addressing a joint sitting of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly and Kashmir Council on Kashmir Solidarity Day, PM Sharif urged the Indian government to address the Kashmir issue with seriousness.
“We believe India will let the people of Kashmir decide their fate,” he said, adding that he expects the neighbouring rivals on Kashmir would positively respond to his proposal.
PM Sharif said that the bond between the Pakistani nation and Kashmiri grows strong each day.
He said the desires of Kashmiris need to be acknowledged and urged the international community to play its role in securing a right for self determination for the people of Kashmir.
He expressed solidarity with Kashmir and said Pakistan would stand by its people until Kashmir receives its due right.

  1. How ironic it is when Pakistanis celebrating day of solidarity with Kashmiris today and keep their mouths shut about mass graves in Baluchistan and Shia genocide in across Pakistan.
