LAHORE – National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) elite commandoes will patrol crime affected areas to check criminal activities on all national highways and motorways, NHMP Inspector General (IG) Dr Wasim Kausar said on Monday.
He was chairing a meeting to review the crime situation on national highways and motorways at his office. Kausar directed sector commanders to do personal patrolling in the night shift and deploy special crime checking squads to check criminal elements. He said that providing safe and smooth journey is the main objective of the NHMP and all officers should work hard to achieve this objective.
