The Supreme Court on Monday disqualified PML-N MPA Qaimoos Khan for his fake degree and rigging in 2013 general elections.
A detailed verdict was a result of appeals filed by ANP leader Dr Haider Ali and JUI-F’s Ali Shah in ECP’s Peshawar tribunal.
Activists of PTI, ANP, JUI and others have expressed their joyous celebrations over the issue, whence Khan already had ECP tribunal’s verdict going against him; over which he had filed an appeal in the SC against the ECP’s verdict, after which his seat as MPA was reinstated.
However, a review carried out by the court has resulted in his disqualification.
