LAHORE – Women have to be encouraged to participate and work for the progress and prosperity of the nation, Punjab Finance Minister Kamran Michael said on Monday. He was talking to a women delegation which called on him at his office. The minister said that for the past few decades, social and political awareness had increased among women and there was a visible urge in women to strive for a better life. Michael said that women are also very keen to contribute towards the development of the country. He assured the women representatives of his full cooperation and resolution of their problems.
