APML to protest against Musharraf’s trial from Feb 7

All Pakistan Muslim League’s (APML) central executive committee (CEC) joined heads to decide the mechanism of countrywide campaigning against former president General (r) Pervez Musharaf’s trial on Sunday morning.

The CEC has decided to launch a protest drive from February 7, to express solidarity with Musharraf. In doing so, the members of the party will hold rallies against the arrest and address the masses about the cases launched against him.

According to details, a meeting of the central executive committee (CEC) of the APML was held here earlier today, in which party leaders pondered upon the proceedings of the case against former president.

The meeting also declared that the treason trial against Musharraf was a victimisation move and vowed to raise voice against it.
