A man accused of committing robbery has confessed to the police that he along with an accomplice had raped the minor girl who was dumped outside Ganga Ram Hospital in September.
According to reports, the accused told police that he had parked his car at a garage where along with his accomplice he spotted the child. The two abducted the child and raped her in the car. He added that the child was left outside the hospital due to her deteriorating condition.
The police are carrying out raids for the arrest of the second man and have taken his wife and sister into custody.
The five-year-old was raped and left outside Ganga Ram Hospital on September 13, 2013.
