PML-N youth wing’s member dies in police custody

A local office bearer of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Mohammad Naeem died in the custody of Civil Lines Police Station on Saturday morning, a private news channel reported.

According to police, Naeem was wanted by the Quetta Police for 17 different cases including robbery and dacoity. The 28-year-old was severely injured after he jumped from the building when the police tried to apprehend him during a raid.

He was brought to a local hospital in a wounded condition and succumbed to his injuries this morning.

Naeem’s body was handed over to his family after legal procedures. It is being said that he was affiliated to the PML-N Youth Wing Balochistan.

However, the deceased family has accused police of the torture and staged protests against the incident outside Balochistan chief minister house.
