IGP orders high security in city

Sindh Police Inspector General Shahid Nadeem Baloch has directed all DIGs to review the police intelligence plan and make an effective strategy in coordination with other intelligence agencies for the arrest of criminals involved in terrorism and other crimes. By following intelligence sharing, immediate actions against criminals should be given priority.

According to a statement issued on Friday, the police chief directed his subordinates to strengthen the security of most affected and sensitive areas of the city with advance intelligence collection.

He said communication among officers of intelligence and personnel should be made effective and SSPs and SDPOs will ensure the immediate actions of their respective police stations.

He further directed the officials, to arrest murderers, target killers, terrorists, proclaimed offenders and absconders and criminals involved in heinous crimes, the ongoing targeted operation should be made indiscriminate and more effective.

He further directed the DIGs to strengthen the security of all sensitive places such as mosques, imambargah, important buildings, public places including shopping centres, parks and others.
