ISLAMABAD-
Federal Minister Senator Abbas Khan Afridi on Thursday expressed the hope that Prime Minister’s decision to hold dialogue with Taliban would help bring durable peace in the country.
Talking to media outside the Parliament House, he said, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) decision to nominate representative in the committee constituted by the Prime Minister to initiate dialogue would also bring positive results.
He said people nominated in peace committee have no personal agenda and only pursue national agenda.
The senator expressed hope that members of the peace committee would play a key role in establishment of durable peace and play a constructive role in resolution of problems.
