An explosion at Pirkoh gas Field blew up 16-inch diameter natural gas pipeline in Balochistan’s district Dera Bugti late on Sunday disrupting gas supply to the Sui plant.
Levies sources said that some unknown miscreants had planted an explosive device on the 16-inch diameter gas pipeline, which went off late at night that severely damaged the pipeline and disrupted supply from well number 15 of the gas field.
Sources said that the repair work of the damaged pipeline would be started after security clearance.
