Edhi favors peace talks with Taliban

Prominent philanthropist, social activist and humanitarian, Abdul Sattar Edhi has underlined the need for peace talks in order to restore law and order in the country.

Talking to media during peace march in Karachi on Monday, he said Taliban were not our enemy, adding that peace talks should be held with them for the sake of peace in the country.

Edhi further said that Taliban wanted Islamic system in the country.

Responding to a question, Abdul Sattar Edhi said humanity would have to be promoted in order to seek peace in Karachi.

  1. talban should stop brutal killings,and bomb blast in moske,,immamabargah,churges and public place..What they are doing ,that is not Islam.They never bothered to attack on night clubs. cinema halls wine shop.They are paid servants of Raw,Mosad and CIA.their only aim to make weak pakistan.Even they are not musim

  2. Talibaan are not terrorist. Terrorist are using Talibaans name. Terrorist have also been caught in karachi who were trained and sponserd by Iran. Also groups who support KARAZI AND india are causing terrorisim in pakistan but the blame goes to So called Talibaan
