Pakistan for building ties with India‚ Australia

President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have expressed their desire to build friendly and cooperative relations with India for the progress and prosperity of the region.
The desire was expressed in their separate messages of felicitation to Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on India’s Republic Day being celebrated on Sunday.
Both said it was their sincere desire to build mutually beneficial relations between the two countries. They extended warm greetings and wished the people of India continued progress and prosperity.
Meanwhile‚ Nawaz congratulated Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott on the occasion of their National Day.
The prime minister said excellent relations between Pakistan and Australia are underpinned by shared objectives‚ mutual interests and commonality of vision for future.
He said Pakistan looks forward to building upon and further strengthening these bilateral ties through enhanced bilateral political‚ corporate‚ commercial and cultural exchanges at all levels.
