QUETTA-
Three people were killed in a cross fire between security forces and militants in Panjgur area of Balochistan, sources were reported saying by a private news channel.
According to the reports, during the action commenced in the province on Friday, security forces in Panjgur surrounded a compound in a search operation.
The armed men within the compound started shooting at the security personnel who retaliated.
The crossfire continued for several hours, the sources said, adding that during the clash the militants also tried to escape but three of them were shot dead by the forces.
Two Kalashnikovs, a pistol and other ammunition were also recovered from the compound
It was not clear whether there were any other men present at the compound or if security forces detained any men.
