Raisani expresses concern over security in Quetta

QUETTA – Balochistan Chief Minister Aslam Raisani on Saturday expressed concern over incidents of targeted killing and abduction and directed the inspector general of police (IGP) and the home secretary for tightening security and taking action against the criminals.
The chief minister condemned the three targeted killings on Friday and sympathised with the bereaved families and asked the authorities to compensate them for their loss. Raisani directed the police to improve its intelligence network for quelling crime, particularly targeted killings and abduction.
He also asked the IGP and the home secretary to take stern action against vehicles with tainted windows and pillion riders besides improving security by increasing police patrol.
