Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Sunday condemned the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) for carrying out a bombing on security forces in Bannu.
Speaking to reporters after attending a meeting of PTI’s organising committee, Qureshi said that his party strongly condemned today’s attack on military convoy.
“If Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack, we condemn them,” he said.
The government, he said, should take political parties into confidence about the progress made so far about peace talks.
“[The] government’s non-serious policy has put the people and political leadership into a state of confusion,” he remarked.
To a question, he said the PTI never supported imposing one’s agenda at gunpoint.
