Lal Masjid cleric murder case: Court exempts Musharraf for a day

The Session Court on Saturday granted the former president Pervez Musharraf a one-day exemption from appearance in the Lal Masjid Cleric Abdul Rasheed Ghazi murder case on medical grounds.
Musharraf’s lawyer Ilyas Siddiqui told the court that his client was sick and under treatment at the hospital and therefore was unable to appear in the court.
The court headed by Additional Session Judge, Wajid Ali ordered to submit a medical certificate citing the former president’s health condition in the court on the next hearing.
The court was adjourned until February 1.

  1. The terrorists of Lal Masjid were establishing a state within a state. Pakistan should be grateful to Musharraf for getting rid of them. Too bad he didn't kill enough of them.
