President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday administered oath to three federal and one state minister at the Presidency.
Although the portfolios of the newly inducted ministers will be announced later, but according to initial reports, with these new improvements, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam– Fazl (JUI-F) has officially become a part of the federal government.
The ministers include Akram Khan Durrani‚ Abbas Khan Afridi and Khurram Dastageer Khan while state minister is Abdul Ghafoor Haideri.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and JUI-F had been holding negotiations over the past several months in this connection.
It took the two sides several months to reach the pact as some matters continued to remain pending.
