Two officials of Pakistan Television Corporation (PTVC) were relieved of their duties on orders of Islamabad High Court (IHC), according to a press release on Wednesday.
PTVC Managing Director Yousaf Baig Mirza and acting MD PTVC Qazi Mustafa have been relieved of their posts in pursuance of the judgment of the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
According to the press release, Mirza was relieved of his duties as MD PTV with effect from April 12, 2013. Similarly, the notification dated April 16, 2013 regarding appointment of Mustafa as acting MD PTVC has also been withdrawn ab initio in toto.
Notifications in this regard have also been issued by the ministry of information.
