The medical report of General (r) Pervez Mushrraf was made public late in the noon on Tuesday by a private news channel report.
According to the report, the medical report presented to the special court by Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) earlier in Tuesday shows that Musharraf suffers from several health problems.
The report states that Musharraf suffers from artery blockage, mental stress, frozen shoulder spinal and bone pain.
Earlier on Tuesday, the AFIC submitted the medical reports in line of the court order issued on Monday.
The bench headed by Justice Faisal Arab ordered the prosecution and defence counsels to study the copies of the medical report and present their arguments at the next hearing.
The court was adjourned till Thursday.
On Monday, the former dictator did not attend the hearing, on which the court had issued orders to AFIC to produce a medical certificate on Musharraf’s health condition in the next hearing (today).
Musharraf’s lawyer Anwar Mansoor said that the special court had a limited mandate and it does not have a constitutional status. Mansoor argued that there was no provision of arrest during the hearing in Article 6 and Article 204 or the laws made under them, adding that he did not view Akram Shaikh as the chief prosecutor in this case.
Mansoor apologised to the court for the arguments that took place during Monday’s proceedings.
Meanwhile, Musharraf was exempted from appearing today in the 2007 case related to the killing of Lal Masjid cleric Ghazi Abdul Rasheed by the Anti-Terrorist Court (ATC) in Islamabad.
Musharraf’s lawyer filed a plea for exemption for Musharraf from appearing before the court today due to his health condition.
The ATC granted the request for today’s exemption and asked for Musharraf’s medical certificate.
The court later adjourned the hearing of the case to Jan 18.

It is not an ordinary issue but matter of cornering the military gini all at once.How weak these generals are quite obvious through this trial so this can be first drop of rain on democratically dry land of Pakistan and telling GHQ that in future no military ruler is acceptable
