The Special Court exempted the former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf from appearing before the court in person on Monday.
The three-member bench headed by Justice Faisal Arab announced its decision after Musharraf failed to appear before the court in treason trial due to ill health on Monday.

One of the lawyers presenting Musharraf, Sharifuddin Peerzada said his client was undergoing treatment in hospital.
During the hearing, prosecutor Akram Sheikh accused Musharraf of intentionally avoiding court hearings and called upon the judges to issue his arrest warrants.
On which the court ordered Musharraf’s lawyers to produce medical certificate regarding his illness by 11.30 am tomorrow (Tuesday).
Musharraf’s lawyer Ahmed Raza Kasuri, while speaking to the media outside the court, criticised prosecutor Sheikh and said this treason case was not a trial of the former president but of the institution of the armed forces.
“We will not tolerate the humiliation of our army,” he said.
The former military ruler was due to appear in a special court and face treason charges under Article 6 for suspending, subverting and abrogating the Constitution, imposing an emergency in the country in November 2007 and detaining judges of the superior courts.
The 70-year-old was taken ill and rushed to the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology in Rawalpindi on January 2 as he was being transported under heavy guard to the special court.
The court also rejected a request to issue him non-bailable warrants.

For sake of its name, Special Court gives Special treatment to Musharaf.
Musharaf treason trial has nothing to do with disgracing Army, but to deal with a traitor who dishonored and betrayed our country and the Army. He is a dispicable human being. The Army should hang him personally and prove that they honor Pakistan loyalty and punish such dishonorable, dispicable and a traitor.
