Pakistan Muslim League-Qauid (PML-Q) leader Pervez Elahi said former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf held elections in the country twice, and all political parties participated in those polls accordingly, therefore, it is not wise to term former Chief of Army Staff as traitor.
He further welcomed the Lahore High Court’s (LHC) decision regarding delimitation in Punjab.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said the delimitation should have been on the basis of justice, and not for the gratitude of anyone else.
Referring to Musharraf case, Pervez Elahi said
Responding to a question, he said PMLQ won’t become part of resolution, submitted in Punjab Assembly, against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain.

This is probably the first time I find myself in full agreement with Pervez Elahi. Whatever Musharraf has done, one may like it or not, he is not a traitor. After all what these trumpeters of democracy have done for the people of this unfortunate country? What was the state of law and order, economy and load shedding of electricity and gas before these cheaters and looters came in? The best they know to do is to make fool of people by false promises, win elections by rigging (Ah ! this democracy) and then try to squeeze the last drop of blood of this country.
