At least seven people were killed and several others sustained injuries as a passenger van caught fire after collision with a tractor-trolley on Monday.
Rescue sources said, a Lahore-bound passenger van collided with a tractor-trolley, loaded with sugarcane at Phalian round-about. As a result, the van caught fire leaving seven people dead.
Several others including women and children sustained injuries. The dead and injured were shifted to tehsil hospital. The accident occurred due to heavy fog causing poor visibility. The rescue team has extinguished the fire.
