Fire gutted six shops in the AladinPark shopping mall in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area on late Saturday night.
The fire burnt artificial jewellery, crockery, gifts and toys worth millions of rupees into ashes.
The owners of the shops claimed that the fire was deliberately set as they did not evacuate the shops.
The shopkeepers further said they were warned to abandon the shops by December 30 or else these would be set ablaze.
Furthermore, the shop owners hold park administration responsible for fire
Fire Brigades reached the spot and extinguished the fire after hours of struggle. However, goods were millions were reduced to ashes by the fire and six shops were completely destroyed by the fire.
According to the fire officials, the fire erupted due to a short circuit, however, the shop owners hold the park administration for the fire.
The report of the incident has not been filed as of yet.
