Attack on polio team in Quetta, minor girl injured

A polio team was attacked on Sunday, injuring four people including a minor girl.

According to police, the polio team was administering vaccines to children in Pashtoonabad when militants threw a hand-held bomb at them which blasted and injured a five-year-old girl and a lady health worker. Two more persons sustained injuries.

The wounded, including the minor girl were immediately rushed to the hospital.

The attack also led to partial damage of a nearby house.

A polio campaign is under-way in Balochistan for the last four days.

  1. What kind of animals have the ISI been breeding, these guys are totally the worst scum you can get anywhere.

  2. Polio teams need to be provided more security or secure clinics should be setup. The PTI government must not give in to these animals.

  3. There is no doubt that the TTP leadership is a bunch of cowards. Their leaders would never choose someone from their own family to carry out suicide attacks. It will always be some brainwashed person who is used as a fodder.
