Balochistan government has announced to stage sit-in protest against the increasing number of kidnappings for ransom in the province outside the parliament house.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Provincial Information Minister Jaffar Mandokhel announced to stage sit-in outside the parliament on January 12, 2014, adding that the opposition and other parties would participate in it.

He said leaders of political parties would also held meeting with President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on January 10. He further said they would also apprise the federal government over the situation.

He demanded of the law enforcement agencies to bring such kidnappings to an end.

  1. Instead of protesting Baluchistan government should accept its failure to control law and order situation in the province and resign immediately.
