Opposition leader in the National Assembly Khurshid Shah on Wednesday said the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) would give three months to the government to improve its performance and if it failed then the opposition would chalk out a new strategy against the government.
Talking to reporters in Sukkur, he said the government had failed to reduce inflation and power load shedding in the county during its six months tenure.
Shah said that the government had also failed to control declining economy of the country, adding that the opposition had given three months to the government for improving economy and its performance.
He said the government should be given some time to resolve problems. To a question, he said the issue of power load shedding was old and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif did nothing for resolving the issue in the past.
The opposition leader said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan should bring down inflation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa first where his party is currently ruling.
